Pet-Lovers Invest into PetHub.com's Vision
SEATTLE, Wash. – PetHub, Inc., completed a seed fundraising round today raising a total of $500,000 from investors. "It's a tough time to raise money, but when you have an idea as compelling as PetHub.com, focusing on the protection of our four-legged family members, the idea quickly takes on its own momentum," said Tom Arnold, Founder and CEO.
The Seattle area company garnered national and international media attention last month after launching its web-based pet protection services. "Our local NBC affiliate aired a piece on us about our tags, collars, and online protection services," noted Arnold, "and it spread like wildfire to CNN, Fox, ABC, and even a national news station in Canada."
The company is continuing to build its service offerings and grow its team as it establishes itself as the first-to-market and only complete QR code solution for pet protection. New team members include a CFO, Director of Sales &Marketing, and multiple software developers and designers. "We're innovating and pushing the technological envelope while protecting the animals in our lives. It doesn't get much better than this," said Arnold.
PetHub.com continues to quickly grow as the premiere hardware (Pet ID tags) and software (data storage and notification services) provider centered around companion animal protection. "Huge thanks to our friends at Zino Society in Seattle for introducing us to so many wonderful, pet-loving Angel investors," concluded Arnold.
