"Gypsy" - Male 01/31/2011

Description: Gypsy Mares is a 12-year-old male Turkish van & long-haired mix cat. His coat is mostly white with brown fur on head/ears/part of his left eye, tail, and two brown spots (one spot on his lower back and the other spot on the right side of his stomach region, which resemble an exclamation mark). Also, he has a white marking on top of his head that resembles the side profile of a young or female deer and black eyeliner markings around the waterline of his left eye. Moreover, his nose is dark reddish with some pink. Please note, he weighed about 11lbs before he went missing and he is neutered as well as up to date on his shots.
Medication & Behavior: Gypsy is neutered and up to date on his shots. Should you find Gypsy, please do not over feed him as his breed is prone to obesity and he is already a pound over weight. However, if you find that he is significantly underweight due to wandering astray, please feed him well by all means. Also, Gypsy tends to attract flees from time to time due to his white coat and tolerates baths well to treat them; So please give him a nice warm bath whenever you find him. I am sure he will appreciate it and sleep very well as a result. Gypsy also enjoys being brushed often, which reduces hairballs for him and helps maintain his nice, long, cashmere-like coat. In terms of his behavior, Gypsy is a care free and loving spirit (a true kid at heart); Picture "Baby Huey" as a cat and that's my baby Gypsy!

Description: Luey's color is gray/brown with a long black stripe down the center of his back.
Medication & Behavior: Luey's medical is up to date. He is a very talkative male, intelligent, and obedient. He has the characteristics of a dog, and we have had both.
We adopted Luey from a shelter in August 2022. It took him a little time to adjust to his new environment, but once he did, he was home. We have recently (two months) allowed him to go outside during the day. He would stay out for 1-2 hours and then come back. Or, if we called him, he would come on command. We usually never let him out past 4 or 5 pm. Tonight though, I thoughtlessly let him out at 7 pm. It is now past midnight, and he is not home, although my husband and I have been in the yard several times calling for him.
