  • Diane Rose Solomon - After rescuing a puppy 22 years ago, Diane Rose-Solomon served on the board of directors of a small animal rescue organization. She is a Certified Humane Education Specialist through Humane Society University. She is the author of, award winning children books JJ the American Street Dog, and How He Came to Live in Our House and the sequel JJ Goes to Puppy Class. ”What to Expect When Adopting a Dog, her latest non fiction book, is a guide to successful dog adoption for every family. Diane also founded Team Kindness, a program where children, families and teachers can learn about and engage in kind, and humane educational activities.national and international conferences and a Capitol Hill briefing, and is an expert in pet obesity, nutrition communication, and in human-animal interaction.   • Angela Marcus - Angela Marcus is a life-long, committed animal advocate. She conceived Get Your Pet in direct response to her experience first-hand with the challenges inherent in the animal sheltering system. Her background includes involvement in virtually every aspect of animal welfare. Angela has worked as a veterinary technician, a Forensic Case Coordinator for Pennsylvania’s largest Humane Law Enforcement team, a contributing presenter on the television channel Animal Planet, and as the Operations Director for the Pennsylvania SPCA. Angela also holds a B.S. in Animal Biotechnology from Delaware Valley University.
  • Aimee Gilbreath - Aimee Gilbreath joined Found Animals in March 2008 as its first full-time employee and Executive Director. She has been responsible for developing and implementing the Foundation’s wide range of innovative programs. Under her leadership the Foundation has grown to over 70 staff members and 500+ volunteers. Aimee is a former management consultant with significant experience leading teams to solve business problems for Fortune 500 clients. She holds a B.S. in Molecular Biology and an MBA. Aimee lives in Santa Monica, CA with her beloved pit bull Rufus.
  • Marika Meeks and Stella - This little fairy fluttered into the life of Marika Meeks and her family in early 2016 and they could never imagined how she would change their family’s life. She is a sensitive girl, incredibly smart and amazingly intuitive. She is such a snuggle buddy too, but the best part about Stella, is how she brings people together. They don't know how she does it, but to be around her is truly an experience. This is more than a special dog. Marika, and anyone who meets Stella the Pit Bull, feels she has a way of making an impression right on your soul. Marika and Stella work together to advocate for rescues, the pit bull breed, and many other causes to help save more pets like Stella.
