  • My pet is lost! (Now what!?) - first of all you need to take a moment. Breathe. You're no good to yourself or your pet if you don't first collect your thoughts and think through what you need to do. Next, visit our Lost page for tips to help you take steps to get your loved one back to you.

  • How do I activate my new PetHub ID tag or collar? -- we license our technology to many pet ID tag & collar manufacturers. While each partner has a different way of presenting you with directions around how to activate your tag, they all eventually end up at the same place: the activation page on our website (http://PetHub.com/activate). Look at the packaging your tag or collar was in and see if you can find something marked "pin#" as well as the tag# on the actual, physical tag or collar. Follow the directions at the link above to sign-in to your PetHub.com account (or, create a new one), select an existing pet profile on the site (or, create a new one), and then enter the tag# found etched on your collar or tag, and the pin# included in the packaging (typically a sticker or slip of paper).  Still not finding the pin# that should have been included with your tag/collar? No sweat: just contact us, include your tag#, and we'll generate a new pin# for you.
  • I cannot find the pin# for my PetHub ID tag -- while the pin# should have been included on a slip or paper or sticker on the tag or collar itself, sometimes mistakes happen or things get accidentally discarded in the frenzy of opening a new purchase. No worries: just contact us, include your tag#, and we'll generate a new pin# for you.
  • My pet's data isn't showing-up when the tag is scanned -- by default we show the minimal amount of information possible just in case you don't want people seeing your contact info when the pet's tag is scanned. Specifically we show your pet's name, photo, and a Contact Owners button that someone can use to contact you through our site via email (allowing us to protect your personal email address).  But, if you do want to show your phone number, address, email, pet medications, or anything else, then view this video to see how to show even more information about your pet when its tag is scanned.
